 Conclusion: Sapphire have again proved that there is no need to spend a fortune on your next graphics upgrade. The overall package they have provided within the HD 3870 offers excellent value for money when you consider the output performance. Whilst extreme gamers and hardcore enthusiasts will be looking at the top end cards that cost several hundred pounds, to fulfill their performance fetish, the average gamer can sit pretty on their HD 3870 that has cost pennies in comparison. Furthermore, users that like the piece and tranquility that comes with their near silent PC, will appreciate the silence that Sapphire have provided within their Vapor Chamber Technology cooling system. So for these reasons alone the HD 3870 is very deserving of our Value For Money & Highly recommended awards. So very rare is it that a graphics card comes along that ticks all the necessary boxes for the average gamer, look at our results and decide for yourself - performance to cost ratio, the HD 3870 is definitely worth some serious consideration.
