Remember the time when DDR3 memory kits were the talk on every forum, and making the transition from DDR2 to the newest high performance memory kit would cost you upwards of £400? Thankfully months have passed and the price of DDR3 memory kits have dropped dramatically, with a 2GB DDR3 kit now costing as little as £120. If it wasn't for the £250+ upgrade motherboard needed to run one of these high performance kits it would be a very affordable and viable option for most people to make the switch from DDR2 to DDR3.
PC Freaks & Geeks will today be taking a closer look at one of the highest performance DDR3 kits on the market. With the brand name of CSX, the Diablo DDR3 2000MHz 2GB may not possess a huge/well known manufacturing name, but it's specifications certainly look like they have a lot to offer for the enthusiast/overclocker. Equipped with XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) and speeds of 2000MHz, will the Diablo kit be worth every penny? Or should we look elsewhere for our next memory upgrade? Read on to find out.....
Company Profile
Unfortunately, after searching the CSX website it appears they don't own an about us page so there isn't a lot of information available on the company called Compustocx (CSX). The only information i could find, and it's not really related to the company but is focussed on their actual memory kits, is the following piece of text:
Although not very important, for those unfamiliar with a company, it would have been nice to be able to read up on exactly how and when CSX first started.
