 Just over a decade since the original Fallout title release, Fallout 3 has finally hit the store shelves just in time for Christmas 2008. For many console gamers, the Fallout series will be a new concept as it's original 2 titles were only available to all the PC gamers out there. Fallout 3 is an action role-playing game released by Bethesda Game Studios (Creators of the hit game: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion). It is the third major game in the Fallout series, which has also spawned the spin-offs Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. A favorite amongst the game critics pre-release it has received some very positive reviews and has been compared favorably to the 2007 game BioShock for its setting and use of elements from mid-Twentieth Century American culture.
